We teamed up with BBC Storyworks to produce a short animation with Viatris, a global pharmaceutical company, explaining the complex range of systems that combine to make and distribute the expansive range of medicines we rely on day to day.
From inhalers to painkillers, billions of individual pills and vials need to be made to meet what is a global demand for medicine that we rely on to stay fit and healthy, to see our friends and family, and to bring to fruition our plans and projects.
Sentio Space created a vibrant and snappy animation that jets from scene to scene, home to home, medicine to medicine, making use of split screens, jump cuts, and pattern multipliers, to shine a light on how many individual moments make up any one moment in time. The colour palette combines intense highly saturated tones with softer more muted secondary and background tones, which combine to reflect a forward looking, yet steady look and feel.
Just as impressive as the range of medicines that are available today is the integrated global transport network that brings medicine from remote parts of the world to our local pharmacies, depicted here through a maze of roads flowing into an expanse of boats, while a plane soars above.
